There’s so much to love about fast-food restaurants and their unique menu items. Sometimes it’s a twist on an old classic. Others, it’s a brand-new seasonal item to help us shift gears for the weather.
Wendy’s French toast sticks are the warmest start to a crisp fall day. And with cinnamon and brown sugar cookie pieces blended right in, Chick-fil-A’s Autumn Spice milkshake has fall written all over it. But it seems we’re still missing something very important.
You probably already know where this is going. That’s right—the McDonald’s pumpkin pie is officially back for the season, and I’ll be buying as many as I’m physically allowed.

We’re all familiar with the masterpiece that is the McDonald’s apple pie. It’s sweet, tasty and portable. What more could you possibly ask for? Now take the genius of the apple pies and put a little pumpkin in it.
McDonald’s Pumpkin Pies are turnover-style desserts with pumpkin filling and creme in the middle. Plus, the flaky crust is covered in sugar. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

In a perfect world, these pies would be available everywhere, all of the time. Unfortunately, these favorite fall desserts are only available at select locations across the country. To find out if a location near you is one of the lucky winners, check the McDonald’s app for their entire menu. So far, pumpkin pies have been spotted at McDonald’s in Los Angeles and are likely to expand elsewhere.
