How They Are Helping

Feed Our Frontline is raising funds to order and drop-off food to the nurses, doctors, medical staff and aids in NYC, Long Island and Westchester working to combat the COVID-19 virus.

American Beech Restaurant has partnered with the Social Services Organization to prepare 200 hot meals for those in need in and around the Greenport area. Meals are distributed every Wednesday from 4PM to 7PM at the restaurant’s outdoor bar area.

La Famiglia is offering free meals to those in need every Wednesday. Residents of Smithtown can pick up a family-style Italian dinner that includes penne alla vodka, chicken Parmigiana and a chopped salad between 4:30 and 7 p.m.

Angelina’s is giving a free regular pizza to families in need in the Williston Park area. They offer free delivery or curbside pick up on weekdays from 11 AM to 9 PM or 11 AM to 10 PM on weekends.

How They Are Helping

The Migrant Kitchen started a GoFundMe campaign to ensure that families in need do not go hungry during this difficult time. Right now, they are working to meet their goal of preparing and delivering 1,000 meals per day to families in and around New York City.
