Moneybagg Yo’s net worth has been growing over the years and the rapper has now also made a name for himself as a restaurant owner.
People from the music industry have been trying their hands in different industries and one of them happens to be Moneybagg Yo who recently opened a restaurant of his own.
The shift has definitely impacted the rapper’s net worth and there is no doubt that it has grown over the years.
Moneybagg’s net worth explored
As reported, Moneybagg has an estimated net worth of $4 million. The rapper entered the industry in 2018 when he released his debut studio album Reset.
It did not take long for it to climb the charts and people fell in love with his songs. A year later, he released 43va Heartless, which again broke all records.
Before releasing his own albums, Moneybagg was focused on producing mixtapes. His knowledge of music allowed him to attract more fans.
Since then, he has made many songs and has also gained a large social media following.
He has opened his own restaurant
After tasting success in music, Moneybagg decided to spread his wings to other industries and launched his own restaurant called Cache 42 Kitchen and Cocktails.
It is located off Hacks Cross Road near Bill Morris Parkway. Sous Chef Jeoffrey Braxton spoke highly about the menu which includes items such as oxtails, lamb chops, chicken, shrimp, and more.
Speaking about it to an outlet, he said: “To see people, enjoy what we are bringing to the table. Great food, music, great drinks, great staff, great customer service into those areas. Just for everyone to enjoy their experience here because it’s big for all of us. It’s big for Memphis.”
Some were upset about the prices
While Moneybagg has been exploring new ventures, some people were not too happy about the prices the rapper had selected.
Social media users found out that he was charging $100 for a steak and it received mixed reactions on the platform.
Some thought it was high as one noted: “I would love to go eat at moneybagg’s new restaurant but getting that tomahawk steak would be the last thing on my mind, I’d rather my total be 100+ for a bunch of food rather than total already starting at 100+ and all I’ve gotten is that big as steak.”
Another added: “Hol up… all this attention about Moneybagg Yo selling a $100 steak…. And it was 40z?? Really y’all? Lol.”
However, some thought that the price was right as one comment read: “I been so lost that I just now learned of people complaining about Moneybagg Yo opening a restaurant that serves a tomahawk steak for $100….for a damn tomahawk that is a BARGAIN lmao.”
“Y’all mad about moneybagg charging $135 for a tomahawk but y’all go to the club and spend over $100 on a $45 bottle of Hennessy,” another argued.
As of now, the rapper has not commented on this social media debate.
