MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A new general store is now open in Memphis.
The Gordon Food Service Store opened Thursday at 1460 Union Ave.
The store features food for home and business, without membership.
According to a press release from the company, the store was designed for home buyers, restaurant owners, and food professionals with an easy-to-use interface for quick shopping.
The store features fine dining items as well as hand-picked local favorites.
The store will be open from 7 am to 8 pm. Monday through Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

Gordon Food Service started as a simple butter and egg service and has grown to become the largest family business in the food industry, the company said.
