ERIK TEN HAG had a nightmare with a German – so drowned his sorrows with an Italian.
The Manchester United manager, 52, saw his side slump to a 2-1 defeat at home to Brighton on the opening weekend of the season.

Pascal Gross struck twice in the first half for the Seagulls, who gifted one back through a scruffy Alexis MacAllister own goal.
But Ten Hag walked away with nothing and headed out for dinner at the plush Piccolino restaurant in Hale on Sunday evening.
The Dutchman was snapped in a white long-sleeve t-shirt, black trousers and white trainers carrying a black rucksack as he left the swanky eatery.
He was flanked by friends and family after polishing off his dinner.
And despite the disappointing result, the ex-Ajax boss still took time to sign an autograph for a United fan.
Ten Hag lamented his side’s performance on the opening day and admitted he has a “hell of a job” on his hands.
The Dutchman added: “It’s definitely a set-back. It’s a real disappointment and we have to deal with it.
“I am not satisfied, totally, because we lose and it’s not necessary. We should have done things better.

“We gave two easy balls away and the organisation was a big mistake. We made it clear how to deal with situations. It was unnecessary.
“We have to take the lessons and learn quickly from it. We don’t have time and we have to deliver.”
Paul Scholes called Scott McTominay and Fred’s performances in the middle “criminal” immediately after the game.
And he was still fuming the following morning.
He wrote on his Instagram story: “Thoughts for the week.
“MDF’s (midfielders) it’s all about body shape when receiving the ball, too many times facing their own goal and can only play one way…
“Get on the ‘half turn’ for f*** sake and bring your forward more talented players in to the game.
“Have a great week everyone.”
