The food industry gathers deeper insights with its advanced tools.
The newly formed Customer Services and Support Center Services & Support, Sean Jafar, The revamped Customer Experience team will be led by Colleen McClellan, VP of Customer Experience. SVP of Sales Tim Chilson will continue to lead the Sales team, and will partner with new VP of Sales Megan Lynberg to lead the sales effort.

Customer Care and Support Center
Serving as a new central point of contact for all customers, the Customer Service and Support Center will help customers better navigate their data and insights project needs and resolve customer queries across all Datassential products.
VP of Services & Support Sean Jafar leads this new team, bringing years of CPG marketing and management experience to clients to provide actionable analytics, solution-based coaching for sales intelligence and menu enhancements, and insights into foodservice and consumer trends.
In his previous role at Datassential, Jafar improved the alignment of support resources with customers, increasing the quality of insights and reducing reporting time by more than 50 percent. “Datassential has always provided the highest quality customer service and the new Customer Service and Support Center makes it easier for our customers and prospects to take full advantage of our tools and gather the insights they need to succeed,” said Jafar.
Datassential is tapping VP of Customer Experience Colleen McClellan to lead the Customer Experience team to help provide more personalized account management, strategic partnership and consulting to Datassential’s existing customers.
McClellan is a seven-year veteran of Datassential with more than 20 years of experience in marketing and strategy development in the retail and foodservice markets. McClellan, a certified Sommelier, established and managed Datassential’s Adult Beverage program.

SVP of Sales Tim Chilson and VP of Sales Megan Lynberg lead the Sales team, driving new customer acquisition to expand Datassential’s reach in the food industry.
Chilson leverages over 20 years of experience leading profitable SaaS growth and B2B technology product development teams. With previous growth-focused roles at Datassential, as well as foodservice insights and sales roles at digital commerce solutions companies, Chilson helps acquire new customers in all aspects of the food industry.
Lynberg has been promoted to VP of Sales and his more than 15 years of experience in foodservice sales roles, including Black Box Intelligence and Nation’s Restaurant News, help the team find new ways to drive rapid new business growth.
