Chipotle Mexican Grill has rolled out a new interactive game called “Buy The Dip” that comes with a $200,000 free crypto giveaway, to commemorate National Avocado Day on July 31st.

Per the announcement, the famous restaurant chain will give away $45,000 in Bitcoin [BTC], $10,000 in Ether [ETH], $13,750 in Solana [SOL], $14,250 in Avalanche [AVAX], and $14,250 in Dogecoin [DOGE] via the game.

Along with the cryptocurrencies, winners will also get 1-cent guac or 1-cent Queso Blanco. And there will be three chances to win every day from July 25 through July 31.

Interested users can access the “Buy The Dip” game by visiting: www.chipotlebuythedip.xyz. The game will be open from 10 am PT to 6 pm PT each day through Sunday, July 31, the blog read.

“We want to build the next generation of Chipotle fandom by connecting with the Web3 community,” said Chris Brandt, Chief Marketing Officer. “We’re excited to bring positivity to the crypto conversation by empowering fans to ‘Buy The Dip.’”

Chipotle’s association with crypto goes back to April of 2021 when it became the first U.S. restaurant brand to launch a cryptocurrency giveaway through its “Burritos or Bitcoin” promotion, which handed out $100,000 in Bitcoin to celebrate National Burrito Day.

Chipotle And Flexa Partnered To Support 98 Crypto Currencies

The fast-casual chain has recently accepted digital currency across the US through a partnership with Flexa, a payments platform.

The collaboration enabled customers to use 98 digital currencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Avalanche, Solana, and Dogecoin, to pay for their food at Chipotle with a Flexa-enabled app.

In 2022, the Tex-Mex chain released its own native currency, Burrito Bucks, on Roblox [RBLX] on the launch of its Burrito Builder game on the same platform.

The latest addition is an example of a growing list of fast-food restaurants testing out cryptocurrency payments and promotions.

In March, Shake Shack [SHAK] jumped the bandwagon by announcing that customers would receive 15% of their purchases in the form of Bitcoin if bought using Block’s [SQ] Cash App debit card, Cash Card.

Prior to that, sandwich shop Quiznos had teamed up with Bakkt App to launch a pilot program to accept payments in bitcoin at select Quiznos outlets in Denver.
